Azimuth STUDIO™ Test Data Management System

The Azimuth STUDIO™ Test Data Management System enables semiconductor vendors, devices manufacturers and service providers to manage as well as share standardized test data within their organizations and with their customers to develop a common understanding of the performance and interoperability of Wi-Fi networks and devices. The STUDIO™ Test Data Management System is an integrated SQL database software solution that collects, correlates, and analyzes test results from systems running the Azimuth DIRECTOR™ or DIRECTOR™ II Test Executive.

Azimuth STUDIO™ greatly enhances DIRECTOR's™ capabilities and simplifies testing. After receiving test results, STUDIO™ provides an intuitive environment for assessing current and historical test results gathered at different stages of the product development cycle or from different corporate, customer or certification test labs.

In a typical wireless testing environment, each engineering group manages its own controlled-RF testing platform using a central console. By integrating STUDIO™ to multiple consoles, an organization can automatically collect and interpret data across functional groups, providing greater insight into specific product challenges. For example, surprising roaming algorithm results discovered during quality assurance testing can be correlated to earlier test results run during software development. Separate engineering groups can also share customized test scripts to build a comprehensive, repeatable and verifiable Wi-Fi testing methodology that is unique to their company, improving quality and ensuring quick time-to-market.

Key Feature of STUDIO™:

  • Test Reporting. STUDIO™ automatically collects test results from the central console in each testing department and imports them into a central database. There, users can view the product’s performance and interoperability results across the entire organization. They can also compare multiple test run results for the easy assessment of historical and new results.
