Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the validation and verification of Azimuth Channel Emulator and WiMax solutions.
• System integration testing to provide detailed analysis of the RF/HW characteristics of the system
• Review bug descriptions, design documents, code check-ins and work with developers to design test cases/test plans.
• Perform manual and automated system tests.
• Write unit and system tests in TCL that plug into the regression test harness.
• Create and enhance unit/regression test infrastructure written in TCL.
• Successfully develop into a lead role
Requirements:
• MSEE Preferred, BSEE required; entry level to 3 years experience in QA/Test Engineering
Must have:
• Knowledge of Digital Communication Systems highly preferred (concepts like DSP, RF, SNR, Modulation schemes)
• Comprehensive knowledge of QA processes, regression harness, automation of test plans. This includes writing test plans, test metrics and test reports
• Ability to demonstrate competence in analyzing problems and getting to the root cause.
• Demonstrate ability to learn new technology rapidly
• Working knowledge of equipment like Signal Analyzers/Generators
Highly Preferred:
• Working knowledge of Channel emulation and WiMax/Cellular knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of MIMO technologies
• Experience writing automation test scripts required and expertise in TCL
• Good working knowledge of layer 2/3/4 networking and 802.11 preferred
• Knowledge of testing GUI based applications
